About Us
The Kiwanis Club of San Ramon Valley's primary purpose is to improve our local community through community activism.
Our primary source of funding is acheived by organizing the Danville 4th of July Parade. The funds derived from the parade are distributed back to local organizations that provide services and/or opportunities to our local youth and elderly.
Our members also contribute their valuable time to local community service events such as the Child Car Seat Safety Inspection Program, the Danville Library Book Sale, the Contra Costa County Food Bank and the Adopt a Family Program, just to name a few.
We are proud of our contribution to our local community and are always looking for ways to expand our contribution. Below are a few pictures from recent community service events sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of San Ramon Valley.
Membership
Membership in the Kiwanis Club of San Ramon Valley connects a person with the community and other individuals he or she wouldn't otherwise know. Club members learn about developments and happenings in their community during their regular club gatherings. They also enjoy new social opportunities with the wide variety of members in our club.
Together, we combine our interests and skills to improve the community in ways that make a real impact on the lives of others, particularly children in Contra Costa and Alameda counties.
The Kiwanis Club of San Ramon Valley meets every Thursday for lunch at noon at Round Hill Country Club in Alamo. If you are interested in attending one of our meetings, please feel free to drop into a meeting or contact our membership team at membership@kiwanis-srv.org for more information. Are you ready to join? Please download and complete our membership application and bring it to our next meeting.
Our club encourages and supports the fellowship of members by sponsoring family events and activities throughout the year. These events have included picnics, camping trips, and attendance at local sporting events.
